2026 Educational and Workforce Development Grant Opportunity
Funding is available through Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc. to support impactful educational programs and initiatives within the following counties: Gilchrist County, Putnam County, Gadsden County, and Columbia County.
Grant funds up to $25,000 per county are available to support student success and academic enrichment, workforce readiness and career pathways, technology and innovation, and professional development.
Eligible Applicants*
- High schools
- Colleges and universities
- Trade, technical, or vocational schools offering skills-based training
*Applicants must be accredited or operate under an accredited governing body.

- Allowable uses: Program costs, materials, related expenses, and facility construction or modifications necessary to implement the proposed project
All applications and required materials should be submitted no later than June 4th, 2026.
Applications that do not include required attachments or provide required certifications will not be accepted and will not be considered for review.
Seminole reserves the right, without qualification, at any time and in its sole discretion, to modify, supplement or withdraw this educational grant opportunity, to reject any grant application or any portion thereof, or to waive irregularities or omissions in any grant application. Those who submit grant applications to Seminole do so without recourse against Seminole for any rejection of a grant application by Seminole or failure to execute a grant application for any reason. Seminole reserves the right to request further information, as necessary, to complete its evaluation of the grant applications received.
